Wow the food is so delicious! I got the spicy jerk tofu pita thing, and I am still craving it a week after. There is so much flavor and the portions are incredible.
Food was great, I love Jamaican food and this meal satisfied my crave when I was visiting ann arbor. Flavor was there amd serving size was worth the price. The jerk is great. Make sure you get lots of the delicious sauce on everything. I would gladly go back. Pick up only. 15-20 min wait.
Went back during art fair week. Food is still great and portion sizes seemed to increase. They do a great job. Jerk chicken, rice and peas, and cabbage onpint. Oxtails are great, and the Curry goat. I like everything I order here. Price went up, but it's due to food cost, so I'm not surprised. Checked out this place on lunch with a friend and the food was amazing. The first time eating oxtails, and I was very pleased. Loved the jerk Chicken Nachos and actually hated plantains, but after trying theirs, I like them. Great place, even though a bit small
Very cute “hole-in-the-ground” restaurant. They had relatively fast service and food served piping hot. We got the jerk chicken and plantains and they were some of the best renditions of those dishes that I’ve ever had. The sides and seasonal veggie choices are fun and elevate the plate. Very good value for the price. I bet that getting this to-go is the typical way, but in store was also fantastic. We will be coming back!
This place is amazing !! It's really small so there's not much seating, but the food is spectacular!! The spice is on point, the seasoning is brilliant, and the flavors are absolutely beautiful. The portions are ginormous too. Just note that the wait time is always super long, so make sure to order well in advance.
Great food! We stopped by for dinner. There was a bit of a wait for the food. It was suggested that we order take out, but they’d call when ready. We could then eat there. It was perfect! The jerk chicken and pork were so good and just spicy enough but flavorful too. The rice and peas were very good as were the veggies. Highly recommend the place. The staff was very friendly and helpful! Popular place! Tons of take out happening!
Incredibly delicious! We each ordered our own meal and ended up sharing, so we could try a bit of everything. Our favorite was the jerk chicken pasta! Our server was lovely and the restaurant has a fun island vibe
So good with great portions. Order ahead because they got swamped with takeout when we were there. Seems like a very popular local place. Definitely seems more takeout place but you can sit and eat it inside. I can’t stress how good the jerk chicken and pork are. That is all we got but I’m sure other stuff is good.
